Humanities Stream

The Humanities Stream at SD Sr. Sec. School is designed for students who are passionate about history, culture, society, psychology, politics, languages, and human behaviour. This stream opens doors to vast and diverse career opportunities in administration, law, civil services, education, journalism, social sciences, fine arts, and more. Comprehensive Academic Curriculum

1. History
Students learn about ancient, medieval, and modern history, world civilizations, revolutions, political movements, and India’s rich heritage. History builds analytical and interpretative skills.

2. Political Science
This subject helps students understand government structures, constitutions, public administration, elections, and international relations. It is essential for students preparing for civil services.

3. Geography
Students study physical geography, climate, environment, maps, natural resources, and human settlements. Geography enhances spatial understanding and environmental awareness.

4. Economics (Optional / Elective)
